William E. O'Brien,
Esq.
Mr. O'Brien received his
German law training from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität,
where he graduated with the German equivalent of a J.D. in
1986. in 1988, he received his J.D. from the State University
of New York at Buffalo. Mr. O’Brien was a research
fellow at the MAX-PLANCK-INSTITUTE FOR FOREIGN AND INTERNATIONAL
PATENT, COPYRIGHT AND COMPETITION LAW in Munich, Germany
where he completed his masters thesis in trademark law. Mr.
O'Brien completed his master’s thesis and received his
Magister Legum in German Law from the Ludwig-Maximilians
Universität in 1992. Mr. O'Brien specializes in
international and domestic business and intellectual property
law. His primary focus is to assist foreign corporations,
and in particular German companies, in adapting their businesses
to the United States legal environment and to help them in
the resolution of any legal issue, which they may encounter
while conducting business in the United States. Mr. O’Brien
has been a contributing member to several German – American
organizations and supports German – American causes
wherever possible. |
