Ralf G. Bahr is President
of Sovereign Consulting Group (SCG) and its affiliates. SCG
consults on a broad array of advisory and managerial services
for business organizations focusing on financing and strategic
planning. Mr. Bahr has assisted numerous businesses and infrastructure
projects in identifying market opportunities and arranging
for their financial support.
Mr. Bahr’s career began
in 1971 as an investment manager at a Cologne based private
bank followed by representing a London based merchant bank
as their sole representative in Germany.
In 1976, Mr. Bahr defined
his area of focus in the evaluation, selection, organization
and administration of investments in North America primarily
concentrating on commercial real estate and oil and gas projects.
From 1985 until 1991, Mr.
Bahr was a managing partner of a real estate development company
in New York, working largely with European investors. He developed,
initiated and managed a long-term acquisition and lease program
with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
In 1991, Mr. Bahr became
active in advising investors and companies regarding their
investments in Czechoslovakia, Ukraine, Poland and Hungary
as investment focuses started shifting towards opportunities
in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe.
In 1994, Mr. Bahr moved from
New York to Florida where he supervised the completion of
certain personal real estate projects as well as serving as
a senior consultant and the executive vice president of a
European merchant-banking firm.
In 1998, Sovereign Consulting
Group was formed. Currently, SCG continues to channel its
focus towards strategic planning with a primary concentration
on the flourishing energy savings industry. |
